EVA Hanwha E182L
EVA Hanwha E182L
Product Introduction EVA Hanwha E182L is an ethylene‑vinyl‑acetate copolymer resin with 18% VA content. It features outstanding optical performance, excellent adhesion, low gel content, high purity, high bonding strength and good processability. It is mainly designed for extrusion coating processes.
Main Applications
Extrusion Coating: Its core application field. ‑Food Packaging: Used for lamination and coating of various food‑packaging materials. It applies extrusion coating onto substrates such as kraft paper, aluminum foil, BOPP (biaxially‑oriented polypropylene) and PET (polyester) films to provide favorable barrier property and sealing performance.
Injection Molding: Also applicable for injection processing to manufacture automotive parts and electrical & electronic components.
Other Applications: Its favorable properties may also be applied in hot‑melt adhesive and other fields, though not explicitly stated in available search results.

Processing Technology
Extrusion Coating Process The resin is melted and plasticized inside an extruder, extruded through a T‑die into a sheet‑shaped melt curtain, then rapidly overlaid onto continuously fed substrates such as paper, aluminum foil and plastic films. A composite coated material is formed after compression by nip rolls and cooling.
Processing Temperature: EVA resin is heat‑sensitive. Processing temperature shall be higher than its melting point (83‑85°C), while excessive high temperature that causes VA decomposition shall be avoided (melt temperature is generally recommended below 230°C). Actual barrel and die temperatures shall be optimized according to equipment, line speed and substrate type.
Injection Molding Applicable for manufacturing automotive parts, electrical & electronic components. Barrel Temperature: Recommended setting range 150‑200°C (for reference only). Mold Temperature: Recommended setting range 20‑50°C (for reference only). Injection Pressure & Speed: Adjust according to product structure and mold design.
