EVA LG Chemical EA28400

EVA LG Chemical EA28400

Product Introduction EVA LG Chemical EA28400 is an EVA resin with ultra‑high VA content. Its most remarkable feature is 40% vinyl acetate (VA) content, making it a choice for high‑performance fields. It possesses excellent flexibility, high transparency, outstanding stress‑cracking resistance and superior compatibility.

Main Applications

High‑end Films ‑Photovoltaic Encapsulation Film: Its most important high‑end application. Used for encapsulation of solar panels, requiring high light transmittance, high bonding strength, excellent aging resistance and UV resistance. ‑High‑end Agricultural Films & Functional Greenhouse Films: Deliver high transparency as well as excellent anti‑fog‑drop and thermal‑insulation effects. ‑Medical‑product Packaging Film: Utilize its characteristics of high transparency, softness and non‑toxicity.

Foamed Products ‑High‑end Sports‑shoe Midsoles: Provide ultra‑lightweight, high‑rebound, soft and comfortable cushioning performance, adopted by many well‑known sports brands. ‑High‑elasticity foamed pads and yoga mats.

Adhesives and Coatings ‑High‑performance Hot‑melt Adhesives: Applied in fields demanding extremely high initial tack and final bonding strength, such as automotive interiors and wood splicing. ‑Coating Modifier: Improve flexibility and adhesion of other resins.

Other Injection‑molded and Extruded Products Soft‑touch grips, sealing strips, toys such as soft‑shot toys.

Processing Technology

Processing Method Key Parameter Recommended Range / Description Important Reminder
Extrusion Molding Barrel Temperature Setting Feeding zone:90‑110°C; Compression zone:120‑140°C; Metering zone:130‑150°C; Die:130‑150°C Strict temperature control! Maximum processing temperature is generally not recommended to exceed 170°C, otherwise thermal‑oxidative degradation will easily occur, manifested as yellowing, bubble generation and pungent odor.
  Melt Temperature ≈130‑150°C
Injection Molding Barrel Temperature Rear zone:100‑120°C; Middle zone:120‑140°C; Front zone:130‑150°C Low‑temperature and fast‑processing strategy is also required.
Mold Temperature 10‑30°C Low mold temperature helps shorten cycle time and reduce product deformation.
Injection Pressure Medium‑low pressure High flowability, no excessive pressure required.
Foaming Molding Processing Temperature Strict temperature control similar to extrusion and injection molding Commonly used together with foaming agents such as AC series and cross‑linking agents such as DCP. Foamed materials are produced via compression molding or continuous foaming processes.
