Processing Technology
| Processing Method | Key Parameter | Recommended Range / Description | Important Reminder |
|---|---|---|---|
| Foaming Molding | Processing Temperature | Material temperature is preferably controlled at 170‑200°C, well below the decomposition temperature. Temperature profiles for specific foaming processes (compression molding, flat‑plate foaming) shall be adjusted according to foaming agent type and product requirements. | Strict temperature control! Excessively high temperature will cause premature decomposition of foaming agent or resin degradation. The dosage of foaming agent shall be precisely adjusted. |
| Foaming Agent | Frequently used together with chemical foaming agents such as AC series. | Foamed products feature elasticity, light weight, high toughness and low shrinkage rate. | |
| Injection Molding | Barrel Temperature | Conventional injection equipment for PE or PP can be used. Material temperature is preferably controlled at 170‑200°C. Upper temperature limit shall avoid thermal decomposition of EVA (approx.230°C). | ‑ |
| Mold Temperature | Adjust according to product shape and dimension | Products are easy to eject due to good elasticity of EVA. | |
| Extrusion Molding | Barrel Temperature Setting | Feeding zone: low temperature; compression zone: medium temperature; metering zone: relatively high temperature (the overall temperature shall stay within the recommended range). | Suitable for extruded products such as profiles and sheets. |
