Material Introduction: PA66 BASF A3WG7 (Germany BASF) is a 35% glass‑fiber‑reinforced heat‑resistant injection‑molding PA66 (PA66+35%GF). Based on high strength and high rigidity, it features ultra‑high strength, ultra‑high rigidity, good dimensional stability, heat‑aging resistance, oil resistance and excellent flowability, suitable for demanding engineering applications.

Main Applications

Automotive industry: Gears, solenoid‑valve housings, automotive fuel distributors, shift components, cooling fans, door handles, oil pipes, fuel tanks, intake grilles, radiator shrouds, lamp holders and other parts.

Electronic‑electrical industry: Connectors, spools, timers, circuit‑breaker covers, switch housings, sockets, joints and other components.

Mechanical parts & Industrial fittings: Industrial gears, bearings, pulleys, power‑tool parts, enclosures, sports‑equipment components (ski‑shoe bases, ice‑skate bases), textile shuttles and pedals.

Injection Molding Parameters

Processing Item Recommended Range / Condition Notes & Explanations
Drying Treatment Hot‑air drying:80 ℃ for 3‑6 h; alternatively 80‑90 ℃ for 6‑8 h to reduce moisture below 0.1%. Extend drying time or adopt high‑temperature vacuum drying under high‑humidity conditions. Critical operation. Prevent hydrolysis‑induced bubbles, silver streaks and mechanical‑property deterioration. Use immediately after drying or seal and keep warm properly.
Melt Temperature Barrel rear/middle/front:270‑290 ℃; nozzle:280‑300 ℃; general range 270‑290 ℃. Fine‑tune according to equipment and part geometry. Avoid temperature>300 ℃ or long residence‑time to prevent material degradation.
Mold Temperature 80‑90 ℃; alternative range 80‑100 ℃. Proper mold temperature ensures good crystallinity, surface gloss and mechanical performances. Higher mold temperature improves crystallinity for better mechanical properties.
Injection Pressure Adjust per product & mold design Higher injection pressure may be required for glass‑fiber‑reinforced grade.
Injection Speed Medium‑high speed Fast filling is beneficial; mold shall be well‑ventilated.
