PA1010 DuPont‑Xingda 11
PA1010 DuPont‑Xingda 11 Resin
Material Introduction: PA1010 DuPont‑Xingda 11 is polyamide 1010 resin. It features good mechanical strength, wear resistance, self‑lubricity, electrical insulation and broad service temperature range (-40 ℃ ~ approx.100 ℃). It shows relatively low water‑absorption among polyamides, complies with FDA and EU 10/2011 food‑contact standards with no plasticizer‑migration risk. Its heat‑distortion temperature is moderate; drying is recommended before processing as for all polyamide materials.
Main Applications
Mechanical parts: Wear‑resistant components including gears, bearings, pulleys, pump impellers, sealing rings and bushings.
Automotive industry: Automotive oil hoses, oil reservoirs, protective covers and other parts.
Electronic‑electrical industry: Insulating components such as electrical coils, cable connectors and switches.
Other fields: Textile‑machine parts and daily‑consumer articles.
Performance Parameters
| Performance Category | Test Standard | Unit | Typical Value | Remarks & Interpretation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Density | ISO 1183 | g/cm³ | 1.03‑1.05 | ‑ |
| Melting Point | ISO 11357 | °C | 186‑190 | Remarkably lower than PA66 (260 ℃) |
| Tensile Strength | ISO 527 | MPa | 45‑55 | 23 ℃, 50% RH |
| Elongation at Break | ISO 527 | % | 300‑400 | High ductility |
| Flexural Modulus | ISO 178 | MPa | 1200‑1500 | ‑ |
| Notched Impact Strength | ISO 180/1A | kJ/m² | >40 (23 ℃) | No brittle‑transition temperature |
| HDT (1.82 MPa) | ISO 75 | °C | 55‑60 | Heat resistance under low‑load condition |

Injection Molding Parameters
| Process Step | Parameter Range | Key Control Points |
|---|---|---|
| Drying | 80‑90 ℃ × 4‑6 h | Dew point ≤‑40 ℃, residual moisture ≤0.1% (prevent bubbles & brittleness) |
| Melt Temperature | 190‑230 ℃ | Strictly avoid temperature>240 ℃ (risk of thermal degradation) |
| Mold Temperature | 40‑80 ℃ | Temperature>60 ℃ improves surface gloss |
| Injection Pressure | 60‑120 MPa | Adopt upper‑limit value for thin‑wall parts |
| Holding Pressure | 30‑60 % of injection pressure | Excessively long holding‑time easily induces internal stress |
| Screw Speed | 50‑100 rpm | High‑shear condition may cause molecular‑chain fracture |
| Post‑Treatment | Not mandatory | Stress‑relief option: oil‑bath at 100‑110 ℃ for 30 min |
