Injection Molding Parameters

Processing Item Recommended Range / Operating Points Notes & Explanations
Pre‑drying Mandatory drying. Dry at 100‑120 °C for 6‑8 h. Moisture content shall be controlled below 0.1%, to prevent molecular‑weight reduction and product defects caused by hydrolysis.
Barrel Temperature Rear zone:280‑320℃;Middle zone:300‑320℃;Front zone:300‑320℃ Melt temperature normally controlled at 310‑320℃. Temperature shall never exceed 330℃ to avoid material degradation.
Mold Temperature 80‑120 °C. Higher mold‑temperature reduces internal stress, improves surface gloss and dimensional stability.
Injection Pressure Adjust according to product structure and wall‑thickness; medium‑high pressure is suggested. Ensure complete mold filling.
Injection Speed Medium speed. Excessively high speed causes jetting marks; too‑low speed leads to insufficient filling.
Back Pressure 2‑10 bar. Promotes melt homogenization.
Screw Speed Medium speed, 100‑200 RPM recommended. Avoid excessive shear force which may break glass‑fiber and cause material degradation.
