Processing Parameters

Processing Item Recommended Range / Operation Key Points Remarks & Instructions
Pre‑drying Dry is mandatory. Dry at 120 ℃ for 4 hours. Moisture content shall be kept below 0.045% to prevent molecular weight reduction caused by hydrolysis, silver streaks, bubbles and other defects.
Barrel Temperature Rear zone:318‑324℃;Front zone:327‑332℃ Melt processing temperature:329‑343℃. Critical processing window. Excess temperature causes degradation; insufficient temperature leads to poor flowability. Avoid long residence time inside barrel.
Mold Temperature 65.6‑93.3 ℃ (approx.150‑200°F). Hot‑water mold forming is also feasible according to references. Proper mold temperature reduces internal stress, improves surface quality and dimensional stability.
Injection Speed 3‑4 inch/s
Holding Pressure 50% of injection pressure
