Material Introduction: PP Maoming Petrochemical K7726H is high‑flow impact‑resistant block‑copolymer polypropylene. It delivers good stiffness‑toughness balance, low odor, high whiteness and excellent processability for multiple application fields.

Main Applications

Home appliances: Mainly used for washing machine inner tubs, outer tubs and related components. Low‑odor property is well‑suited for home appliances with high hygiene‑safety requirements. This grade is massively adopted by Midea‑owned Toshiba home‑appliance products for export to Japan.

Automotive industry: For automotive interior & exterior parts, used as base resin for modified automotive interior components.

Thin‑wall injection‑molded articles: High melt flowability fits thin‑wall production and helps reduce raw‑material consumption.

Processing Parameters

Drying Treatment Normally not required PP features extremely low water‑absorption. Drying is unnecessary under proper storage. Dry at 80 ℃ for 1‑2 h if material gets damp.
Barrel Temperature 200‑275℃ Homopolymer PP melting point:164‑170℃. Do not exceed 275 ℃ to prevent material degradation.
Mold Temperature 40‑80℃ Recommended:50℃. Higher mold temperature improves surface gloss, dimensional stability and weld‑line strength; lower mold temperature shortens molding cycle.
Injection Pressure 68.6‑137.2 MPa, up to 1800 bar Adjust per flow‑length and part structure. Appropriately lower injection pressure for this high‑flow grade.
Injection Speed High‑speed injection High‑speed injection minimizes internal pressure. Try low‑speed injection at higher melt temperature if surface defects occur.
Holding Pressure 30%‑60% of injection pressure Sufficient holding pressure reduces shrinkage and sink marks. Avoid excessive holding time to prevent high internal stress.
Back Pressure 0.5‑1.0 MPa Moderate back‑pressure improves melt homogenization and venting. Not mandatory; too low back‑pressure may cause air entrapment in melt.
Screw Speed 50‑100 rpm Avoid excessive screw speed to prevent shear‑induced overheating.
