PP Shaoxing Sanyuan Y26SY Resin

PP Shaoxing Sanyuan Y26SY Resin

Material Introduction: PP Shaoxing Sanyuan Y26SY is random‑copolymer polypropylene with high flowability and high impact resistance.

Main Applications

Fibers & non‑woven fabrics: Primary application for turf yarn, non‑woven fabrics, disposable hygiene articles such as diapers and sanitary napkins, filter materials. Good flexibility meets above‑mentioned application requirements.

Thin‑wall injection‑molded articles: High flowability enables injection molding for thin‑wall products.

Other applications: Transparent containers, food packaging and other relevant fields.

Processing Parameters

Processing Item Reference Range (General PP) Remarks for Y26SY high‑flow feature
Drying Treatment Normally not required PP features extremely low water‑absorption. Dry at 80 ℃ for 1 h under poor storage condition.
Barrel Temperature 180‑260℃ Homopolymer PP melting point:165‑170℃. Adopt relatively low temperature setting for high‑flow grade to avoid shear‑thermal degradation.
Zone setup example: rear 30‑50℃;Zone1:160‑250℃;Zone2:200‑300℃;Zone3:220‑300℃;Zone4:220‑300℃;Zone5:220‑300℃;Nozzle:220‑300℃.
Mold Temperature 20‑70℃ Recommended:40‑60℃. Higher mold temperature improves surface gloss and dimensional stability; lower mold temperature shortens molding cycle.
Injection Pressure 80‑140 MPa Reduce injection pressure appropriately due to excellent flowability to prevent flash. Up to 180 MPa for thin‑wall packaging containers.
Injection Speed Medium‑high speed High injection speed can take advantage of high flowability, pay attention to gas marks and weld‑lines and adjust on‑site. High‑speed injection is required for thin‑wall packaging containers.
Holding Pressure 30%‑60% of injection pressure Sufficient holding pressure reduces shrinkage and sink marks. Avoid excessive holding time to prevent high internal stress, approx. 30% of total cycle time.
Back Pressure 5‑20 MPa Proper back‑pressure improves melt homogenization and venting. Too low back‑pressure causes unstable part weight and uneven color dispersion.
Screw Speed High speed permitted High screw speed(linear velocity 1.3 m/s) is acceptable on condition that plasticizing completes before cooling phase. Avoid excessive screw speed to prevent shear overheating.
