Injection‑Molding Process Parameters

Process Item Suggested Range / Description Remarks
Drying treatment Generally unnecessary; dry at 80℃ for 1‑2 h under poor storage condition
Barrel rear zone(feed section) 160‑180℃ Prevent thermal degradation.
Barrel middle zone(compression section) 180‑200℃
Barrel front zone(metering section) 200‑220℃
Nozzle temperature 200‑210℃
Mold temperature 40‑60℃,recommended 50℃ Low temperature may result in poor surface quality, weld‑lines and flow‑marks; high temperature will cause warpage.
Injection pressure 70‑100 MPa Higher pressure available for thin‑wall or complex‑structure parts.
Holding pressure 50%‑60% of injection pressure Prevent shrinkage cavity and excessive shrinkage.
Injection speed Medium speed High‑speed injection improves appearance yet may induce internal stress; low‑speed injection benefits venting.
Screw speed 50‑100 rpm Avoid excessive shear heat leading to material degradation.
