Injection‑Molding Process Parameters
- Melt temperature:220~275℃, do not exceed 275℃.
- Mold temperature:40‑80℃, recommended 50℃. Crystallization degree is mainly determined by mold temperature.
- Injection pressure:maximum up to 1800 bar.
- Injection speed: high‑speed injection minimizes internal pressure; adopt low‑speed injection under higher melt temperature when surface defects occur.
- Runner & gate:
- Cold‑runner diameter: 4‑7 mm; full‑circular runner & gate are preferred.
- All gate types are applicable; typical gate diameter 1‑1.5 mm, minimum 0.7 mm.
- For edge gate: minimum gate depth ≥ 1/2 part wall‑thickness; minimum gate width ≥ 2× part wall‑thickness.
- Hot‑runner system is fully compatible for PP.
