PP‑R Dushanzi Petrochemical T4401

PP‑R Dushanzi Petrochemical T4401 Resin

Material Introduction: PP‑R Dushanzi Petrochemical T4401 is random‑copolymer polypropylene special for pipe applications. It features excellent high‑temperature creep resistance, water‑extraction resistance and high impact resistance, mainly applied for high‑quality cold‑hot‑water transmission systems.

Main Applications

Household cold‑hot‑water pipelines: core application for high‑temperature hot‑water service.

Floor‑heating hot‑water pipes: suitable for floor heating benefiting from outstanding anti‑creep property under high temperature.

Industrial pipes: piping system for conveyance or discharge of certain chemical media.

Injection‑Molding Process Parameters

  • Barrel temperature:feed zone 30‑50℃, temperature rises gradually downstream. Homo‑PP reference 160‑250℃; random‑copolymer PP reference 180‑280℃. Melt temperature generally 220‑280℃.
  • Mold temperature:20‑70℃. Higher mold temperature improves surface gloss and dimensional stability.
  • Injection pressure:80‑140 MPa(800‑1400 bar), avoid over‑high pressure; up to 180 MPa(1800 bar) for thin‑wall articles.
  • Holding pressure:30%‑60% of injection pressure; sufficient holding time shall be set to reduce molding shrinkage.
  • Back pressure:5‑20 MPa(50‑200 bar).
  • Injection speed:high‑speed injection for thin‑wall containers; medium‑speed for common products.
