Injection‑Molding Process Parameters

Processing method: Injection molding(main), blow molding, extrusion.

  • Melt temperature:<220 ℃ / around 220 ℃. Relatively low processing temperature due to high MFR and LDPE material property.
  • Mold temperature:20‑50 ℃. Lower mold temperature shortens molding cycle, adjust according to product structure and requirements.
  • Injection pressure:Medium‑low pressure for its excellent flowability; actual value depends on part shape, wall thickness and mold design.
  • Injection speed:Medium‑high speed for fast cavity filling.
  • Back pressure:5‑10 bar for melt homogenization, excessive back pressure is not allowed.
  • Screw speed:Moderate rotation speed, avoid material degradation caused by excessive shear heat.
  • Drying treatment:Pre‑drying is normally unnecessary. Dry at 60‑70 ℃ for 1‑2 h under humid storage environment.
