Material Introduction: LDPE QAPCO MG70 is low‑density polyethylene featured with ultra‑high flowability, well‑suited for thin‑wall articles production.

Main Applications

Thin‑wall injection‑molded products: disposable tableware, plastic caps, small‑size containers, daily‑use goods, plastic flowers.

Color masterbatch & modification carrier: excellent pigment and additive dispersion capacity owing to high flowability, widely used as base resin for color masterbatch and additive masterbatch.

Coating application: extrusion coating for protective or sealing layer on paper, fabric and other substrates.

Food‑contact application: complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.1520, applicable for food‑contact packaging materials and containers.

Injection‑Molding Process Parameters

Process Parameters Recommended Range Remarks & Interpretation
Drying Treatment Normally not required Low‑hygroscopic LDPE for direct use. Dry at 60‑70 ℃ for 1‑2 h under high‑humidity storage condition.
Barrel Temperature 150‑170 ℃ / 180‑280 ℃ Two reference ranges available. Start debugging from low‑temperature zone 150‑190 ℃ to avoid thermal degradation for this high‑flow grade. Temperature rises from rear zone to front zone.
Nozzle Temperature 160‑180 °C Slightly lower than front‑zone barrel temperature.
Mold Temperature 20‑40 °C Low mold temperature shortens cycle time and prevents product deformation.
Injection Pressure 30‑80 MPa (300‑800 bar) High flowability permits relatively low injection pressure. Excessive pressure will cause flash. Holding pressure shall be lower than injection pressure.
Injection Speed Medium‑high speed Fast injection improves thin‑wall filling; cooperate with pressure and temperature to avoid flash or air trapping.
Screw Speed Moderate (50‑100 rpm) Prevent excessive shear heat generation.
Back Pressure 0.5‑1.0 MPa Low back pressure is sufficient for melt compaction.
