LDPE Yanshan Petrochemical 1C7A

LDPE Yanshan Petrochemical 1C7A Resin

Material Introduction: LDPE Yanshan Petrochemical 1C7A is low‑density polyethylene specially designed for extrusion coating process. It features excellent processability, outstanding bonding strength for lamination and favorable heat‑sealing performance, widely used in packaging industry.

Main Applications

Yanshan Petrochemical 1C7A is general‑purpose dedicated resin for extrusion coating. It acts as coating layer for composite packaging on various substrates.

Substrate coating: extrusion coating for paper, paperboard, aluminum foil, BOPP, BOPET, BOPA and other plastic films.

Packaging contents: applicable for food, liquid (milk, fruit juice), powder, pharmaceuticals, agricultural supplies and chemical products.

End‑products: laminated paper for paper cups & paper bowls, woven bag coating, transfer label film, photo paper film, flexible composite packaging for food & medicine, aseptic liquid packaging such as Tetra Pak and other mid‑to‑high‑end packaging products.

Performance Parameters

Performance Category Test Item Test Method / Condition Test Data / Unit Remarks & Interpretation
Basic Properties Density ASTM D1505 / GB/T 1033.2 0.917‑0.919 g/cm³ Typical LDPE density range.
Melt Flow Rate (MFR) ASTM D1238 (190°C/2.16kg) 7.0 g/10min High melt index provides good flowability, suitable for high‑speed extrusion coating.
Rheological Properties Die Swell Ratio 1.7‑1.8 Indicates melt expansion after exiting die, affects coating stability and quality.
Hygiene & Safety Food‑contact Compliance Qualified Non‑toxic, odorless natural pellets. Compliant with FDA regulations and China GB 9691 hygiene standard for food‑contact resin.

Extrusion Coating Processing

For mainstream extrusion‑coating process, recommended processing temperature: 270‑335 ℃. Actual conditions shall be adjusted according to raw material, equipment and product dimension.

Injection‑Molding Process Parameters

Process Parameters Recommended Range Remarks
Barrel Temperature 160‑210 °C Temperature rises from rear zone to front zone. LDPE melt is prone to thermo‑oxidative degradation when exposed to oxygen.
Nozzle Temperature 180‑200 °C
Mold Temperature 20‑60 °C
Injection Pressure Medium‑high pressure Adjust according to product structure and dimension.
Injection Speed Medium speed
Back Pressure 0.5‑1.0 MPa Excessive back pressure is unnecessary.
Screw Speed 50‑100 rpm Avoid excessive shear heat accumulation.
