Material Introduction: LDPE Shanghai Petrochemical N220 is low‑density polyethylene with high elongation at break. It is mainly applied in blown‑film field, and widely used for agricultural films.

Injection‑Molding Process Parameters

Barrel Temperature 160‑210 °C Temperature increases from rear zone to front zone. LDPE melt is prone to thermal‑oxidative degradation when exposed to oxygen.

Mold Temperature 20‑60 °C
Injection Pressure Medium‑high pressure Relatively lower flowability vs injection‑molding grade LDPE, moderate pressure increase may be required.

Back Pressure 0.5‑1.0 MPa High back pressure is unnecessary.
Screw Speed 50‑100 rpm Prevent excessive shear heat build‑up.
Drying Treatment Normally not required Dry at 80 ℃ for 1 h under poor storage conditions.
