Material Introduction: HDPE Formosa Plastics 8001 is an extrusion‑grade high‑density polyethylene resin, classified as PE100 pipe‑specialized grade. Featuring excellent pressure‑resistant strength, superior environmental stress‑cracking resistance (ESCR), good creep resistance and chemical corrosion resistance, it is widely used in pressure piping systems.
Main Applications
Water‑supply pipes: PE water‑supply pipes, capable of withstanding internal water pressure and external loads for long‑term reliable service.
Gas‑transportation pipes: PE gas pipes with stringent requirements for safety and pressure resistance.
Industrial & municipal sewage pipes: Sewage and drainage pipes resistant to corrosive media and external pressure.
Chemical pipes: PE chemical pipes with certain chemical‑corrosion resistance.
Protection sleeves: Cable sleeves, TV cable sleeves and other protective conduits.

Processing Parameters

| Drying | Necessity | Pre‑drying is normally unnecessary. If moisture is detected under humid storage condition, dry at 60‑80°C for 1‑2 hours to avoid surface defects. |
