Injection Molding Processing Parameters
| Processing Stage | Parameter Item | Suggested Range / Operation Notes | Unit / Remarks |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pre‑drying | Drying Temperature | 110‑120 | °C |
| Drying Time | More than 4 hours (extend to 8‑10 hours as required) | h | |
| Allowable Moisture Content | < 0.02% | Critical requirement | |
| Injection Temperature | Rear Barrel Temperature | 210‑240 (or 250‑260) | °C (adjust according to equipment and product structure) |
| Middle Barrel Temperature | 230‑280 (or 270‑280) | °C | |
| Front Barrel Temperature | 240‑285 (or 280‑290) | °C | |
| Nozzle Temperature | 240‑250 (or 270‑300) | °C | |
| Melt Temperature | 270‑320 (do not exceed 320°C) | °C (actual melt temperature shall be confirmed by air‑shot test) | |
| Mold Temperature | 80‑100 (or 50‑80) | °C (higher mold temperature reduces internal stress, improves filling and surface appearance) | |
| Injection Settings | Injection Pressure | 80‑130 (adjust according to product and mold design) | MPa |
| Holding Pressure | 40%‑60% of injection pressure | MPa (general PC recommendation) | |
| Back Pressure | Approx.10 bar (≈1 MPa; may decrease without silver streaks or color‑mixing defects) | MPa/bar | |
| Screw Speed | 40‑70 (or 28) | rpm | |
| Others | Injection Speed | Relatively fast injection speed commonly adopted (e.g. electrical switch parts); slow‑to‑fast injection profile is typical | ‑ |
