PC Luxi Group LXTY1609T‑11

PC Luxi Group LXTY1609T‑11

Material Introduction: PC Luxi Group LXTY1609T‑11 is a medium‑molecular‑weight general‑purpose polycarbonate resin. It delivers high transparency (light transmittance above 90%), good heat resistance and excellent impact resistance. It possesses inherent flame‑retardant performance (UL94 HB) without extra additives.

Main Applications

  1. Electronic & Electrical Components: Household‑appliance housings, switches, capacitors, telephone housings and other communication‑equipment parts.
  2. Automotive Manufacturing: Automotive components, lamp housings, etc.
  3. Building Materials: Sun sheets, solid polycarbonate sheets, corrugated sheets, hollow sheets and so on.
  4. Optical Materials: Suitable for optical‑material applications thanks to its high transparency.
  5. Others: Food packaging, medical devices, aerospace and other fields.

Injection Molding Processing Parameters

Processing Stage Parameter Item Suggested Range / Operation Notes
Pre‑drying Drying Temperature 110‑120 °C
  Drying Time 8‑12 h
  Allowable Moisture Content < 0.02% (0.015‑0.02%)
Injection Temperature Rear Barrel Temperature 220‑230 °C
  Middle Barrel Temperature 260‑280 °C
  Front Barrel Temperature 240‑260 °C
Melt Temperature 240‑280 °C (barrel temperature shall not exceed 310 °C)
  Mold Temperature 80‑100 °C
Injection Settings Injection Pressure High‑pressure injection is required; excessive pressure will induce residual internal stress and cause cracking
Injection Speed Avoid excessively fast speed to prevent melt fracture, char marks, rough surface or burning defects
  Back Pressure
  Screw Speed
