Material Introduction: PC Chi Mei (Taiwan) PC‑6710 is a flame‑retardant, transparent, high‑flow polycarbonate grade. It is manufactured by non‑phosgene melt transesterification process. It is well‑known for outstanding flame retardancy (UL94 V‑0), high transparency, favorable mechanical strength and good heat resistance.
Main Applications
- Electronic & Electrical Equipment: Components requiring strict flame‑retardant performance, such as computer enclosures, cash‑register back covers, power‑adapter housings, instrument housings, charger housings, electronic‑electrical enclosures, industrial electrical equipment, communication devices, etc.
- Lighting Equipment: Lamps and lamp shades requiring high transparency and flame retardancy.
- Outdoor Applications: Suitable for certain outdoor electrical and equipment parts due to UV‑resistance (UL 746C f1 rating).
- Automotive Components: Selected automotive interior parts.
