Material Introduction: Injection‑molding grade transparent polycarbonate with UL94‑HB flame retardant rating, which is an off‑spec material in the industry. It delivers high transparency, favorable mechanical properties, good heat resistance and balanced processability. It is widely used in electronic‑electrical products, consumer goods and general‑industrial components, especially for cost‑sensitive applications with basic performance requirements.
Note: Off‑spec materials (also called secondary‑grade materials) are by‑products generated during production. They do not fully meet the standards of prime‑grade materials but still possess usable value.
Main Applications
- Electronic & Electrical Field: Various electrical housings and electronic components. Its high transparency and HB flame‑retardant property improve the safety performance of electrical products.
- Consumer Goods & Industrial Products: Home‑appliance parts, lamp housings, toys, models.
- General Mechanical Components: Shields, covers and frames for parts without extremely strict requirements for surface appearance and mechanical performance.
