PPS Polyplastics 0220A9 is a high‑toughness polyphenylene sulfide engineering plastic with excellent overall performance. It features high impact strength, superior heat resistance and high flame retardancy.

Main Applications

Electrical‑Electronic Industry: transformer bobbins, high‑frequency coil bobbins, plugs, sockets, terminal blocks, contactor commutator segments and various precision components. Especially suitable for high‑temperature electrical components operating above 200 °C, such as brushes for generators and engines, starter coils, etc.

Automotive Industry: automotive functional parts including igniters, heaters, thermostats, lamp bases, bearings, clutches, transmissions, gearboxes, bearing brackets, exhaust system components and others.

Mechanical & Chemical Industry: wear‑resistant parts such as gears, bearings, pump housings, pump wheels, impellers, valves, bearing supports, piston rings and sealing materials; corrosion‑resistant components for chemical industry including reaction tanks, pipes, valves and chemical pumps.

Injection Molding Parameters

Drying treatment: PPS shall be fully dried before processing. Recommended drying condition: 120‑140°C for 3‑4 hours.

Injection temperature: Molding temperature range: 285‑330°C.

Reference barrel temperature setting: ‑ Rear section: 280‑300°C ‑ Middle section: 300‑320°C ‑ Front section: 310‑330°C ‑ Nozzle: 310‑330°C

Mold temperature: Recommended mold temperature: 120‑150°C. Higher mold temperature contributes to better surface gloss and improved dimensional stability of molded parts.
