PPS Polyplastics 1140A6

PPS Polyplastics (Japan) 1140A6

PPS Polyplastics 1140A6 is a 40% glass‑fiber‑reinforced polyphenylene sulfide engineering plastic. It features high strength, excellent heat resistance, outstanding flame retardancy, superior chemical resistance and dimensional stability.

Main Applications

Automotive Industry: Commonly used for engine‑peripheral components, sensor housings, connectors, fuel‑pump modules, etc. It resists engine oil, fuel and high‑temperature environments.

Electrical‑Electronic Industry: Suitable for SMT connectors, coil bobbins, electromagnetic relays, switches and other parts. Its solder‑heat resistance enables it to withstand high temperatures from infrared reflow soldering.

Industrial Equipment: Mechanical components such as pump housings, gears and bearings requiring wear‑resistance and corrosion‑resistance.

Home Appliances: Heat‑resistant parts for coffee makers, electric irons, hair dryers and other products.
