PPS Polyplastics 1150A6 is glass‑fiber‑reinforced polyphenylene sulfide engineering plastic. Featuring excellent high‑temperature resistance, flame retardancy and mechanical strength, it is widely used in automotive, electrical‑electronic and other industries. Its high‑flow and low‑warpage characteristics make it ideal for complex‑structured and high‑precision‑dimension parts.
Main Applications
Engine‑peripheral parts: ignition coil bobbins, sensor housings (crankshaft / camshaft / knock sensors), throttle‑body assemblies, EGR system components (valves, cooler end caps), turbocharger actuators, oil‑pump assemblies (impellers, housings).
Motor / solenoid valve components: BLDC motor end covers, commutators, solenoid coil bobbins and housings.
Lighting: high‑power LED reflectors, heat‑dissipation bases, lamp holders (benefiting from high reflectivity, heat resistance and flame retardancy).
Gears and bearing cages: applications requiring heat resistance, wear resistance and low friction.
Hot‑air / hot‑fluid equipment parts: components for ovens, heat guns and heat exchangers.
Office equipment / home appliances: heat‑adjacent gears, brackets and guide plates in copiers and printers; iron base supports, hot‑water components for coffee machines.

Processing Parameters
Material pre‑treatment: Although PPS has low moisture absorption, drying before molding is recommended.
Injection temperature: For glass‑fiber‑reinforced PPS, barrel temperature: 300‑350 °C; nozzle temperature up to 330 °C.
Mold & pressure: Mold temperature: 120‑180 °C; injection pressure: 50‑130 MPa. PPS features fast solidification and low shrinkage. Higher injection pressure and speed are preferred. Large taper for sprue and short runner design are recommended.
