PPE Asahi Kasei 644Z (Japan)

PPE Asahi Kasei 644Z is an unreinforced, flame‑retardant and heat‑resistant PPE/PS alloy (also commonly known as PPO). It delivers excellent dimensional stability, favorable electrical properties, mechanical properties and flowability.

Main Applications

Electrical‑Electronic Industry: High‑voltage resistant electrical components, connectors, coil bobbins, switch relays, tuning devices, household appliance parts, and outer housings & assemblies for copiers, computer systems, printers and facsimile machines.

Automotive Industry: Instrument panels, radiator grilles, speaker grilles, wheel housings, window frames, shock absorbers, pump filter screens, connectors.

Mechanical Industry: Gears, bearings, pump impellers, blower fan blades. Usable at elevated temperatures and can replace stainless steel in certain applications.

Chemical Industry: Corrosion‑resistant parts such as pipes, valves, filter discs and submersible pump components.
