POE SK Korea 8605
POE SK Korea 8605
POE SK Korea 8605 is an ethylene‑octene copolymer. It delivers good performance in general‑purpose thermoplastic elastomer applications and is especially renowned for its excellent flow characteristics. It is suitable for general‑purpose injection‑molded articles, footwear materials and as an impact modifier.
Main Applications
Mainly used for general‑purpose thermoplastic elastomers, footwear manufacturing and as an impact modifier. It can also be applied in polymer modification (e.g. PP toughening), foamed products and other fields.

Processing Methods
Applicable processing method includes injection molding. Processing: This material is explicitly marked suitable for injection molding.
Blending Modification: For toughening by blending with base resins such as PP and PE, pre‑blending of POE and base resin is recommended to achieve uniform dispersion.
General POE Processing Recommendations: Drying Treatment: Drying may be required if the package is damaged and the material is exposed to air. POE generally has low moisture absorption; drying may not be necessary when stored in dry conditions. Refer to the official technical data sheet for specific drying parameters (temperature and duration if drying is needed).
Barrel Temperature: POE is an ethylene‑based copolymer with a generally low melting point (refer to other POE grades: approx. 50‑70℃). However, actual processing temperature shall be significantly higher for sufficient plasticization. Specific settings shall be explored according to product structure and dimensions.
Mold Temperature: Adjust according to product requirements.
