POE ExxonMobil 6202

POE ExxonMobil 6202

POE ExxonMobil 6202 is a high‑performance polyolefin elastomer. Manufactured with metallocene catalyst technology, it is well‑recognized for outstanding elasticity, toughness and good compatibility with other materials.

Main Applications

Film Applications: Especially suitable for cast films and packaging films. It endows films with favorable elasticity, toughness and high transparency.

Polymer Modification: Frequently used as a toughener for plastics such as polypropylene (PP). It significantly improves the impact resistance of base materials without excessive sacrifice of flowability and rigidity.

Other Fields: Also applicable for automotive interior and exterior parts, non‑woven fabrics, personal hygiene products, wires and cables, etc.

Processing Parameters

Processing Step Parameter Recommendation / Description
Drying Treatment Drying is generally not required. Dry at 70‑80°C for 2‑3 hours if the material gets damp.
Processing Temperature Initial temperature is recommended to be approx. 10°C above melting point; adjust according to processing methods.
Melt Flow Rate (MFR) 9.1 g/10 min (190°C/2.16 kg).
Injection Speed High processing speed is acceptable.
Mold Temperature Slightly higher mold temperature and pressure are generally preferred during processing.
