POE ExxonMobil 3980FL

POE ExxonMobil 3980FL

POE ExxonMobil 3980FL is a high‑elasticity, high‑toughness elastomer featuring excellent low‑temperature impact resistance, good optical properties, low heat‑seal initiation temperature and high seal strength. It complies with food‑contact regulations such as FDA and EU, as well as RoHS.

Major Applications Films & Packaging: Suitable for cast film and blown film, ideal for use as heat‑seal layers. Polymer Modification: Used as a toughener for substrates such as polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) to improve impact resistance, processing flowability, impact strength and elongation at break of materials. Other Processes & Articles: Automotive parts (e.g. bumpers, interior components), wires & cables, home appliances, toys, medical devices and other finished products.

Processing Parameters Drying: POE generally has low moisture absorption and drying is normally not required. If packaging is damaged or material is stored in humid environment, dry at 70‑80°C for 2‑3 hours as appropriate.

Processing Temperature: The starting processing temperature is recommended to be approx. 10°C above the melting point; adjust according to specific processing method. For blown film or cast film applications, adjust based on equipment characteristics and film thickness.

Injection Speed: Relatively high injection speed is applicable.

Mold Temperature: Slightly higher mold temperature and pressure are generally recommended during processing.
