POE LG Chem LC168
POE LG Chem LC168
POE LG Chem LC168 is an ethylene‑1‑butene copolymer with excellent impact resistance, good flexibility and easy processability. It is especially suitable as impact modifier for PP toughening.
Main Applications
Polymer Modification: Mainly for toughening PP, greatly improving impact performance. Widely used in automotive parts (bumpers, fenders) and home‑appliance housings. Wire & Cable: Insulation and sheaths requiring high heat‑resistance and environmental resistance, ideal for low‑smoke zero‑halogen flame‑retardant compounds. General Articles: Automotive interior & exterior parts, shoe soles, industrial hoses, conveyor belts, stationery and toys.

Processing Guidelines
- For PP toughening: POE loading ≤20 %. Higher POE content improves impact strength and elongation, while tensile strength, flexural strength and modulus decrease accordingly.
- Melt index and flowability increase with POE addition; MFR barely changes beyond certain POE dosage.
