POE Mitsui Chemicals DF610
POE Mitsui Chemicals DF610
POE Mitsui DF610 is an ethylene‑1‑butene copolymer with high elasticity, excellent low‑temperature impact resistance and good flexibility. Low density enables lightweight articles; high transparency, foamable, and cross‑linkable via peroxide or irradiation for performance improvement.
Main Applications
Polymer Modification: Mainly for toughening PP and PE; automotive bumpers, instrument panels. Packaging Materials: Low‑temperature heat‑seal films, peelable films. Wire & Cable: Cover layers, especially for low‑smoke zero‑halogen flame‑retardant compounds. Sports Goods: Foamed midsoles and outsoles for sports shoes. General Articles: Hoses, conveyor belts, home‑appliance parts, stationery and toys.

Processing Guidelines
- Applicable processes: injection molding, extrusion, blown film, foaming.
- Blending modification: For PP/PE toughening, control POE loading. Higher POE content improves impact strength and elongation, while tensile strength, flexural strength and modulus decrease accordingly.
- Melt index and flowability increase with POE addition.
