POE Mitsui DF710 is a highly‑transparent polyolefin elastomer with excellent low‑temperature resistance, toughening performance and process flowability. It is suitable for scenarios requiring improved toughness and transparency, especially for plastic modification and high‑end packaging.

Main Applications

Plastic Modification: Used as toughener to improve impact resistance of PP and PE; enhances impact performance for automotive parts such as bumpers and instrument panels. Packaging Materials: High transparency and food‑contact compliance for food‑packaging films. Wire & Cable: Insulation and sheaths for high heat‑resistance & environmental‑resistance requirements, ideal for low‑smoke zero‑halogen flame‑retardant compounds. General Articles: Sports‑shoe midsoles, industrial hoses, conveyor belts, home‑appliance parts, stationery and toys.

Processing Guidelines

  • Suitable for injection molding and extrusion.
  • Narrow molecular‑weight distribution, good flowability and good compatibility with polyolefins; improves filler dispersion and weld‑line strength.
  • Blending recommendation: For PP/PE toughening, POE loading ≤20 %. Higher POE content improves impact and elongation but reduces tensile & flexural strength and modulus.
  • MFR of blend rises with POE addition; MFR barely changes above 15 phr POE.
