POE Mitsui Chemicals DF740
POE Mitsui Chemicals DF740
POE Mitsui DF740 is a highly transparent polyolefin elastomer with excellent low‑temperature resistance, toughening effect and process flowability. It is ideal for applications requiring improved toughness and transparency, especially for plastic modification and high‑end packaging.
Main Applications
Plastic Modification(Core Application): High‑efficiency impact modifier for PP and PE; also for toughening engineering plastics such as PA. Automotive parts: bumpers, fenders, steering wheels, cushions. Wire & Cable: Insulation and sheaths with high heat‑resistance and environmental resistance, suitable for low‑smoke zero‑halogen flame‑retardant compounds. Packaging Materials: Food‑contact compliant, for food‑packaging films, cosmetic & food hoses benefiting from high transparency. Footwear & Foamed Articles: Foamed midsoles and outsoles for sports shoes. General Articles: Industrial hoses, conveyor belts, home‑appliance parts, stationery and toys.

Processing Guidelines
- Suitable for injection molding and extrusion (blown film, cast film, cable sheathing).
- Narrow molecular‑weight distribution, good flowability and good compatibility with polyolefins, improving filler dispersion.
- Blending recommendation: For PP/PE toughening: typical loading 5‑20 %. Higher POE content improves impact & elongation, while tensile / flexural strength & modulus decrease accordingly; adjust ratio per performance requirements.
