POE Mitsui Chemicals DF640

POE Mitsui Chemicals DF640

POE Mitsui DF640 is a low‑density polyolefin elastomer with excellent impact resistance and flexibility, especially suitable as impact modifier for toughening PP and PE.

Main Applications

Plastic Modification(Core Application): High‑efficiency impact modifier widely used for toughening PP and PE. For automotive: bumpers, fenders, steering wheels, cushions and other parts. Wire & Cable: Insulation and sheaths requiring high heat‑resistance and environmental resistance, ideal for low‑smoke zero‑halogen flame‑retardant compounds. Packaging Materials: Packaging films, especially low‑temperature heat‑seal films and peelable films. Sports Goods: Foamed midsoles and outsoles for sports shoes. General Articles: Hoses, conveyor belts, medical devices, home‑appliance parts, stationery and toys.

Processing Guidelines

  • Drying: Low moisture absorption; pre‑drying normally unnecessary. Dry at 70‑80 ℃ for 2‑3 hrs if package damaged or heavily hygroscopic.
  • Processing Temperature: Start slightly above melting point. Initial reference range:160‑220 ℃,fine‑tune according to equipment and products.
