PA46 high-temperature modification

High‑Temperature‑Resistant Modified PA46

PA46 itself is a typical high‑temperature‑resistant nylon grade, featuring outstanding short‑term and long‑term heat resistance. Its melting point reaches 295 °C. The heat‑deflection temperature of unreinforced PA46 is 160 °C, while 30 % glass‑fiber‑reinforced PA46 achieves up to 290 °C, with a long‑term service temperature of 163 °C.

Main Applications

Widely applied to automotive under‑hood components, such as hot‑air pipelines, turbocharger dampers and motor parts.
