PA66 features favourable chemical‑corrosion resistance with outstanding tolerance to oils, greases and fuels, yet it shows poor resistance against strong acids and strong oxidants. After modification, PA66 achieves greatly improved retention of transverse tensile strength under boiling‑water conditions.
