PP medical grade
Medical‑Grade Modified Polypropylene
Medical‑grade modified polypropylene is a special‑purpose material developed for medical devices and pharmaceutical packaging. It complies with ISO 10993 or USP Class VI biocompatibility standards to ensure absence of cytotoxicity, sensitization and irritation, while maintaining extremely low levels of extractables and leachables. Medical‑grade PP can withstand high‑temperature steam sterilization (121 °C), ethylene oxide sterilization or gamma‑ray irradiation without significant degradation.
Main Applications
Widely applied in articles in direct contact with medicines and human bodies, such as disposable syringes, infusion bottles, surgical basins, petri dishes, pharmaceutical packaging bottles and diagnostic equipment components.
