TPV ADHESIVE OVERMOLDING MODIFICATION

TPV adhesive overmolding modification applies secondary overmolding (also known as two‑shot injection molding or film‑covered injection molding) onto plastic parts, representing a highly efficient process. It combines the soft‑touch feeling and sealing performance of TPV with the structural strength of hard plastics to form permanently‑bonded components without adhesives. Its core is to achieve firm bonding between dissimilar materials, and endow rigid plastic parts with the soft rubber’s comfort, sealing, protection and other properties.

General‑Purpose PP Overmolding Modification Widely applied in: automotive interiors such as door panel armrests, instrument panels and center consoles.

Consumer daily‑use products: tool handles, kitchenware grips, toothbrush handles, bicycle grips, etc.

 

High‑Performance Engineering Plastic Overmolding Modification

Main applications: sealing parts around engine compartments, flexible connectors, wire harness sheaths, dust boots and so on.

 

Environmental‑Friendly & Sustainable Modification

Mainly used for: automotive interior and exterior trims, skeleton encapsulation of window guide groove sealing strips, and other non‑appearance structural components.

 

Food‑Contact & Consumer‑Goods Modification

Typical applications: toothbrush handles, kitchenware grips (spatulas, soup spoons), razor handles, sports‑equipment sheaths, and leak‑proof sealing bottle cap liners.

 

Special‑Environment Application Modification

Commonly used for: outdoor‑equipment waterproof seals, wire‑harness overmolding for outdoor‑sensor marine electronic devices, automotive exterior sealing strips and door‑window sealing systems.
