PE corrosion resistance

Corrosion‑Resistant Modified PE Plastic

PE intrinsically possesses favorable chemical‑resistance. Cross‑linking or chlorination modification can further upgrade its anti‑corrosion performance. Cross‑linked polyethylene (XLPE) delivers excellent acid‑alkali‑resistance and oil‑resistance, overcoming environmental‑stress‑cracking weakness of neat‑PE. Chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) and chlorosulfonated polyethylene introduce chlorine atoms into molecular chains, greatly improving oil‑resistance, ozone‑resistance and chemical‑corrosion‑resistance. UHMW‑PE also exhibits outstanding acid‑alkali‑resistance with zero‑water‑absorption and no drying requirement before processing.

Main Applications

Widely applied for scenarios exposed to corrosive media, such as liners for chemical‑processing equipment, storage tanks, pipelines, containers and sheaths for wires‑cables.

Properties: corrosion‑resistant Physical properties: customizable per customer requirements (partial performances can match imported brands).

MOQ: 1 ton upon successful sample testing.

Participation Process

Modification manufacturers please contact supplier service for supply registration.

Buyers: Click group‑purchase or contact procurement service to submit your procurement requirements. The platform screens qualified modified‑material suppliers from the database or launches bidding according to your specifications. After sample validation, buyers confirm the preferred modified material and supplier and sign the sales‑purchase contract.
