LLDPE (Linear Low‑Density Polyethylene)

LLDPE achieves higher mechanical strength with outstanding tensile strength, puncture resistance and tear resistance, along with better flexibility and environmental‑stress‑cracking resistance. Its melting point is 10‑15 °C higher than that of LDPE, bringing slightly improved heat resistance. It provides good melt‑flow performance and low energy consumption during processing. Nevertheless, its optical transparency is generally inferior to LDPE; films feel relatively stiff and its processing window is comparatively narrow.

Main Applications

Film products: Widely applied for stretch wrap films for pallet cargo packaging, heavy‑duty sacks for fertilizer and resin, garbage bags, industrial inner liners and composite packaging films. It is often blended with LDPE to optimize overall film properties.

Injection molding: Household utensils, container lids, toys, industrial turnover boxes and other injection‑molded components.

Rotational molding: Large hollow articles such as water‑storage tanks, chemical tanks, water tanks, automotive fuel tanks and children‑playground equipment.

Pipes, wires and cables: Selected pressure pipes and flexible hoses. It is also used for insulating layers and sheaths of wires and cables, especially for applications requiring high flexibility.
