LLDPE (Linear Low‑Density Polyethylene)
LLDPE features enhanced mechanical strength with excellent tensile strength, puncture resistance and tear resistance, as well as superior flexibility and environmental‑stress‑cracking resistance. Its melting point is 10‑15 °C higher than LDPE, bringing slightly better heat resistance. It delivers good melt flow and low energy consumption during processing. However, its optical transparency is generally inferior to LDPE; films feel relatively stiff and its processing window is comparatively narrow.
Main Applications
Film products: Widely used for stretch wrap films for pallet cargo packaging, heavy‑duty sacks for fertilizer and resin, garbage bags, industrial inner liners and composite packaging films. It is frequently blended with LDPE to improve comprehensive film performance.
Injection molding: Household utensils, container lids, toys, industrial turnover boxes and other injection‑molded articles.
Rotational molding: Large‑sized hollow products including water‑storage tanks, chemical storage tanks, water tanks, automotive fuel tanks and children‑playground facilities.
Pipes, wires and cables: Selected pressure pipes and flexible hoses. It is also applied for insulating layers and sheaths of wires and cables, especially for scenarios requiring high flexibility.
