PC (Polycarbonate)
PC is a high‑performance transparent engineering plastic. Core features: excellent optical performance with light transmittance of 88%‑90%. It boasts high mechanical strength, especially outstanding impact resistance, known as “unbreakable glass”. It features a broad service temperature range from ‑60 °C to 120 °C and favorable dimensional stability. It also provides good electrical insulation and self‑extinguishing properties. Its disadvantages include poor fatigue resistance and wear resistance, susceptibility to stress cracking, and incompatibility with strong alkalis, ketones and certain other solvents.
Main Applications
Electrical & electronics: mobile‑phone housings, computer components, coil bobbins, optical disc substrates (CD/DVD) and various insulating connectors.
Automotive industry: headlamp lenses, instrument panels, window panels and interior‑exterior trim parts.
Building materials: skylights, sound barriers, polycarbonate hollow sheets and highway noise‑reduction walls.
Medical & daily‑use articles: baby bottles, water buckets, spectacle lenses, medical devices such as goggles and high‑pressure syringes, and durable tableware.
Please specify your additional requirements for recycled PC pellets: color, environmental compliance, gloss level, impact performance, melt flow index, elongation at break and other physical‑property parameters.
MOQ: 1 ton upon successful sample testing. After‑sales: return and replacement for quality‑related defects.
