PPS (Polyphenylene Sulfide)

Known as “plastic gold”, PPS is a high‑performance special engineering plastic. Core features: outstanding heat resistance with long‑term service temperature of 200‑240 °C and heat‑deflection temperature above 260 °C. Excellent chemical resistance, barely soluble in any solvent below 200 °C and highly resistant to acid and alkali corrosion. It is inherently flame‑retardant and achieves UL94‑V0 rating without extra flame‑retardant additives. It also provides exceptional dimensional stability (molding shrinkage <0.0025 %) and favorable electrical properties. Its main weakness is brittleness of neat resin; glass‑fiber and other fillers are commonly applied for modification.

Main Applications

Automotive industry (largest application field, ~43 %): new‑energy‑vehicle motor components, electronic water‑pump housings, lithium‑battery covers, realizing over 30 % weight reduction versus metal parts.

Electrical & electronics (~24 %): micro‑connectors, coil bobbins, 5G base‑station antenna vibrators with low dielectric loss.

Environmental protection: high‑temperature filter bags for coal‑fired power plants, resistant to acid flue gas up to 200 °C.

Aerospace: aircraft components and missile structural parts.

Machinery & chemical industry: corrosion‑resistant parts such as pump bodies, valves and sealing elements.

Please specify your additional requirements for recycled PPS pellets: color, impact performance, tensile properties, flexural properties, elongation at break, environmental compliance, surface defects and other physical‑property parameters.

MOQ: 1 ton upon successful sample testing. After‑sales: return and replacement for quality‑related defects.

Participation Process

Recycled pelletizing manufacturers please contact supplier service for supply registration.

Buyers: Click group‑purchase or contact procurement service to submit your procurement requirements. The platform screens qualified recycled raw‑material suppliers from the database or launches bidding according to your specifications. After sample validation, buyers confirm the preferred recycled material and supplier and sign the sales‑purchase contract.
