Grade‑1 transparent recycled PS pellets
PS (Polystyrene)
PS is a colorless‑transparent thermoplastic, one of the general‑purpose plastics with relatively high transparency. Core features: good optical performance with light transmittance above 90%. Rigid and glass‑hard yet brittle, it has low impact strength and cracks easily. It delivers outstanding processability and electrical insulation with low molding shrinkage and favorable dimensional stability. Its main limitations are poor heat resistance (long‑term service temperature generally ≤ 80 °C) and inadequate weather resistance, which causes yellowing upon aging.
Main Applications
Daily‑use articles & packaging: widely used for disposable tableware such as plastic cups and lunch boxes, transparent CD/DVD cases, stationery (rulers, pen holders), toys and food‑packaging containers.
Electrical & electronic products: instrument housings, lamp shades, insulating films and high‑frequency capacitor components.
Construction & thermal insulation: Expanded Polystyrene (EPS, commonly known as styrofoam) is a vital lightweight building material for wall thermal insulation, sound insulation and cushioning packaging.
Please specify your additional requirements for impact resistance, gloss level, flame retardancy, heat resistance, environmental compliance, surface pits and other physical‑property parameters.
MOQ: 1 ton upon successful sample testing. After‑sales: return and replacement for quality‑related defects.
