PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride)

PVC is a general‑purpose thermoplastic with extensive applications. Core features: tunable rigidity and flexibility. With different plasticizer loadings, it can be manufactured into rigid profiles or flexible films. It exhibits good flame retardancy, chemical corrosion resistance, superior electrical insulation and relatively high strength. It is low‑priced and delivers excellent cost‑performance. However, it shows limited heat resistance (maximum regular service temperature: 60 °C) and poor stability against light and heat, hence stabilizers must be incorporated during processing.

Main Applications

Rigid products: massively used in construction materials including water supply & drainage pipes, door‑window profiles and wall panels; also for chemical storage tanks, electronic product housings, etc.

Flexible products: widely applied in wire‑cable insulation layers, artificial leather, packaging films, raincoats, toys, sandals, vinyl flooring and wallpaper.
